We watched the mass and graveyard ceremony via a live stream. Lots of other relatives (family Konijn and Hoedjes) did the same.

I was only 13 when we moved to the farm on the 2nd of Arthur in 1965. I know my parents and my brother (who is still on the farm) always appreciated having Nick as a neighbor. He was very independent and steady as a neighbor. And a reliable friend in times of need. As I recall, Nick loved to dance. I enjoyed dancing and chatting with him at my mom and dad's 40th-anniversary party.
