England, owner/operator of the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest, Ontario was raised in Hamilton and educated in its public schools. He received his funeral director's license in July, 1985 upon graduation from Humber College's Funeral Services Education program, in Toronto. Bruce returned to Hamilton and began his career at Swackhamer & Hilts - Blachford & Wray Funeral Home under the direction of its respected managing director, Frank W. Morris. In 1990 he was appointed general manager of the Legacy Funeral Group of Hamilton. He also served as president of the Hamilton & District Funeral Service Association. In March, 1996 after eleven years in Hamilton, Bruce relocated to the Hendrick Funeral Home in Mount Forest. The following year, Bruce and his wife, Sandy, purchased the Hendrick Funeral Home which is located at the corner of highways #6 and #89. On November 1st of 2010 Bruce & Sandy renamed the "Hendrick Funeral Home" to the "England Funeral Home". As time allows, Bruce is actively involved in the community and its organizations. Bruce, Sandy and their two children are pleased and fortunate to be accepted by this growing and vibrant community. Bruce is committed to its needs and remains steadfast in supporting Mount Forest and its neighbouring communities. |

Graduated in June of 2010 from the Funeral Services Program at Humber College, Toronto, Ontario. Raised in Burk’s Falls, Ontario, where her family owned and operated Dempster-Allair Funeral Home, Erin’s understanding of the care required to the bereaved families we serve will assist her in becoming a valued director at the England Funeral Home. Erin is a fourth generation funeral director following her great grandfather Joseph Hilliar, grandfather Thomas Dempster and father Charles Allair whose dedication to the funeral profession dates back to 1905. |
