Athol, we are so happy to have spent time with you this February and March. We will remember all your winter visits, but especially this one, talking hockey, watching the Olympics and enjoying Sunday night dinners. You were such a wonderful, kind man in so many ways and such a great friend to Mom. We will miss your warm smile and quiet, gentle way. Your west coast family--Craig, Kim, Andrew & Brenna and your friends, Sadie and Tucker.

Hughson Family: We were saddened to hear the news of Athol's passing. He was a great friend to our family and certainly kept in touch with my father, Bill Noble. Unfortunately, Bill will be unable to attend the services for Athol, but he will cherish all the great memories he and Athol had. Athol and he had many stories in regards to the Orangeville Fire Department. Again, our thoughts are with you. Our sincere condolences, Sandy Edwards (daughter of Bill) and Bill Noble (former Fire Chief of OFD)

It was with great sadness, I heard of Athol's passing.I had the priviledge to know Athol for a few years.I visited Athol every two weeks and I always enjoyed his conversations, what he had done, where he had been and what was in the plans for the next two weeks. He had such a zest for life, and was determined to live it to it's fullest.Of course he had the highest regards for his Dear Friend and Companion Grace. You could feel his fondness and devotion in every word He spoke. Athol was a gentleman, a person one couldn't help but have the utmost respect for.Athol was someone you just enjoyed talking to and listening to. He spoke highly of his families. I will truly miss knowing he is not a phonecall away. I thank you Athol for the memories you have given me and your priceless friendship . You will be remembered forever. May God Bless You, and take care of you. Your friend, Nancy

You fought the good fight Uncle Athol and we will miss you very much. We will miss your laughter and how you loved to dance. We will miss your presence at our family celebrations. We will miss your interest in delving deeply into our family history. We will miss your determination to keep going - to keep striving - to keep living. May you rest in Peace. Your niece Melodie and husband Ralph.
