MAYOR, Ruth – Unexpectedly at her residence on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Norman Mayor (2006). Loving mother John Mayor, Carol (Bruce) Myke, Gail Cutts (Richard Guerin), Tammy Mayor, and Wendy (Jeff) Topp. Dearly loved by her 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Survived by her sisters-in-law Isabelle Szabo, Ann Bagley and Marilyn Bagley. Predeceased by her daughter-in-law Margaret Mayor and 11 brothers and sisters.
A private graveside service will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Hamilton. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Ruth are asked to consider the VON Waterloo Wellington Dufferin. Arrangements entrusted to the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest.
