Wollis, Wilmer; peacefully at his home in Mount Forest on Saturday April 9th, 2011. Wilmer James Wollis of Mount Forest in his 70th year. Beloved husband of Wilma (Griffith) Wollis. Loved father of Brian Wollis & wife Laureen of Peace River, Alberta, Brenda Wollis of Guelph and Bernice Smith & husband Doug of Waterloo. Loving grandfather of Thomas, Andrew, Teresa and Matthew Wollis, Gregory and Adam Smith. Dear brother of Irene McQueen of Mount Forest, brother-in-law of Veva Spark of Arthur, Lenora Arbuckle of Alma, Glenna Smith & husband Douglas of Arkell and Marlene Mainland & husband Bill of Arthur. Wilmer will be remembered by his many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents John & Viola Wollis, brothers Cecil Wollis & wife Hazel, Howard Wollis, sister Elva Campbell & husband Jack and brother-in-law Hugh Mc Queen. Wilmer served as a leader of the 4H club for 33years and will be sadly missed. Friends may call at the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Mount Forest United Church on Wednesday April 13th at 11:00a.m. Interment at Mount Forest Cemetery.
