Schmidt, Carl; at the Guelph General Hospital on Saturday August 3rd, 2013. Carl Joseph Schmidt of Guelph, formerly of Mount Forest in his 83rd year. Beloved son of the late David & Luella Schmidt. Loved brother of Mildred Westman of London, Adrian Schmidt & wife Anne of Hamilton, Edna Male of Guelph, Joseph Schmidt & wife Marion of Mount Forest and Marilyn Moore of Toronto. Dear brother-in-law of June Schmidt of Mount Forest. Carl is survived by his many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by infant brother Orville, brothers Ray and Bernard Schmidt, sisters Alfreda Seifried & husband Clarence and Agatha Day & husband George and brothers-in-law Clifford Westman, Daniel Male and James Moore. Visitation will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Kenilworth on Wednesday August 7th from 10:00a.m. until time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00a.m. Interment at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest. Memorial donations to St. Joseph 's Health Care Foundation, Guelph would be appreciated by the family.
