Jack Zeinstra

ZEINSTRA, Jacobus Theodorus “Jack” – Passed away unexpectedly at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Walkerton, on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at the age of 66.

Cherished husband of Beth Zeinstra for 42 years. Loving Dad of Angela Zeinstra (Rhys Benbow), Teresa Zeinstra (Devon Jessome), and Matt Zeinstra. Adored Grandpa “Bubba Louie” of Myles and Owen Benbow, and Baby Jessome due in May. Dear brother of Brent (Mary Lynn), Grace (Kim) Lennox, Maria Zeinstra-Dye (Mike Dye), Maurice, and Brian (Jenny); son-in-law of Marybelle and John Nanninga; and brother-in-law of Marcel DeClerk. Lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and their families, the Nanninga family, and many dear friends. Predeceased by his parents Maurits and Catharina, sister Margaret DeClerk, and brother Dirk.

Jack never did anything halfway, and he never did anything quietly. He put his heart and soul into every project, no matter how big or small. He had many interests and passions and was most proud of being a pilot. Over the years he and Beth shared numerous adventures together, travelling across Canada in the planes he built with his own hands. Jack’s memory will live on through his family and he will never be forgotten.

A come and go celebration of Jack's life will be held at the Neustadt Community Hall, 183 Enoch Street, Neustadt on Sunday, March 1st from 1:00-4:00 p.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Jack are asked to consider the Neustadt and District Lions Club or Hope Air. Donations and online condolences may be made at www.englandfuneralhome.com

To Beth and family; indeed a shock to hear of Jack’s passing—gone too soon. An active member of our flying community here at Hanover, a friend you can depend on to get things done around the airport. Our deepest sympathy to you and your family, our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

We wish to express our sincerest condolences to Beth, Angela, Teresa and Matt and to all of the Zeinstra and Nanninga families.
Jack and Ron were friends all through High School, fun times playing Ball Hockey, and riding in Jack's crazy spinning Volkswagen Beetle. He will be missed.

We are so sorry to hear this news.
The Zeinstra family contributed so much to St. Patrick’s Church in Proton back in the day. This included the choir, altar servers etc.
May Jack RIP

The Zeinstras were our neighbours in Proton…back in the day we went to a one room schoolhouse. Jack and I started school at the same time, and became buddies through Grade 1 and 2 there. We walked home together as we were let out of class 1/2 earlier than the older kids…no idea what we talked about in those days, but no doubt we solved world problems as grade 1 and grade 2 kids do..Jack and I kept in touch…he continued to be caring, informative, and always ready to offer a helping hand; like his parents and his siblings…God speed Jack….

Beth and Family, my deepest condolences on your tragic loss. Keep his memories close to your heart, and when you see a small plane, just think that Jack is watching over you. RIP Jack.
