McLellan, Wilbert; at his home in Mount Forest on Tuesday October 2, 2007. Wilbert Munro McLellan in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Agnes (Ivel) McLellan. Loved father of Edith Fotheringham & husband Grant of Waterloo, Doug McLellan & wife Diane of Arthur Township, Betty McLellan of Mount Forest and Wendy Smeltzer & husband Jeff of Fergus. Loving grandfather of Brent Fotheringham & wife Michelle of Kitchener, Tammy Legault & husband Vince of Kitchener, Dwayne McLellan of Mount Forest, Michael McLellan of Calgary, Josh Smeltzer of Fergus and Alex Smeltzer of Fergus. Great grandfather of Laura, Dylan and Andrew Fotheringham and Travis and Jessica Legault. Dear brother of Leslie McLellan & wife Nancy, Lorne McLellan & wife Ruth, Donald McLellan & wife Shirley, Marie Stewart and Isabella McLellan. Brother-in-law of Sylvia McLellan, Ruth McLellan and Jack Ivel. Survived also by his many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by sister Pearl and brother's Gordon and Ross. Friends may call at the Hendrick Funeral Home, Mount Forest on Wednesday from 3:00 to 5:00p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Mount Forest United Church on Thursday October 4th at 2:00p.m. Interment at Mount Forest Cemetery. Aunt Agnes, Edith&Grant, Doug&Diane, Betty, Wendy&Jeff, Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren, We are saddened to hear about Uncle Wilbert. I know you all miss him greatly. I always remember Uncle Wilbert as one of the greeters at our family reunions - sitting on the porch in Kenilworth welcoming and asking about everyone as we arrived. This is the loss of a long time friend, neighbour & teacher of many of life's difficulties. Wilbert always took time for a smoke, giving him time to think over his next move. He never got too excited, but did get the job done, much like an avid checker player.
