Martin, Jeremiah; passed away peacefully on Monday May 18, 2015 at the home of Elam and Minerva Weber, RR #5 Mount Forest, formerly of St. Clements, in his 98th year. Beloved husband of the late Selinda Bearinger. Dear father of Israel & Lorene Martin, RR #1 St. Clements, Minerva & Elam Weber, RR #5 Mount Forest, Laverne & Mary Martin, Esther & Leonard Wideman, both of RR #6 Mount Forest. Father-in-law of Isobel & Mahlon Frey of Elmira and Moses & Leah Weber, RR #1 St. Clements. Also survived by 37 grandchildren, 84 great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law Lydian (Mrs. Wesley Martin), Sarah (Mrs. Nelson Brubacher), one step-sister-in-law Elvina (Mrs. Laverne Martin), and one step-brother Wilfred and Vera Martin. Predeceased by his parents Abraham & Catherine Martin, one son Edward, one daughter Maryann, 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, one brother, and two sisters. Friends may call at the home of Leonard & Esther Wideman at RR #6 Mount Forest on Wednesday May 20th from 12:00– 5:00 p.m. and 6:00– 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the home of Leonard and Esther Wideman on Thursday May 21st at 9:00 a.m., then to Spring Creek Mennonite Meeting House for further service and burial in the adjoining cemetery.
