Guest, Ronald; at Louise Marshall Hospital, Mount Forest on Friday August 31, 2007. Ronald Guest of Mount Forest, formerly of Arthur in his 97th year. Beloved husband of Florence (Hubble) Guest. Much loved father of Jane Guest of Muscat, Oman, Susan Guest of Mount Forest and the late Marie Guest-Culp. Father-in-law of Erwin Culp of Arthur. Loving grandfather of Bruce Culp & wife Brenda, Bonnie Culp-Banks & husband John and Barbara Densmore & husband Doug. Great grandfather of Lindsay, Johnny, Codi, Steven and Kaitlyn. Brother-in-law of Lloyd Owens of Norville and Evelyn Guest of Bobcaygeon. Also survived by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Ken Guest and sisters Eileen Osman & husband Morris, Freda Owens and Audrey Evans & husband John. Ron was the founder of Inter County Milk Transport Ltd. and operated his business for over 50 years before retiring. In 1990-1991 Ron received the Ontario Trucking Association Man of the Year Award in recognition for his outstanding contribution to the Truck Transportation Industry and in May of 2002 he was honoured with the Colonel Robert Hardie Award of Life Time Achievement during National Transportation Week. Along with the Toronto Milk Transport Association, Ron co-published a book written by H. Gordon Green entitled Little Blue Jug to Tanker and enjoyed his many years of service with the Arthur Lions Club. Private funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Hendrick Funeral Home, Mount Forest. Memorial donations to the CNIB-Lions Lake Joseph Camp would be appreciated by the family.
