Gillies, Robert; at Louise Marshall Hospital, Mount Forest on Thursday March 26, 2009. Robert Wilson Gillies of Mount Forest in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of Margaret (Love) Gillies. Loved father of Betty Henry & husband Larry of Harriston and Ron Gillies & wife Trish of Southgate Township. Loving grandfather to Faydra Henry, Richard Gillies & wife Kristi, Bradley Gillies and Randy Gillies. Predeceased by parents David & Mary (Eccles) Gillies and infant brother Bruce Gillies. Friends may call at the Hendrick Funeral Home, Mount Forest on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church on Saturday March 28th at 11:00a.m. Spring interment at Mount Forest Cemetery. Margaret, Ron, Betty and families, I was saddened to hear of Robert's passing and unfortunately too late to attend at the funeral home to express my sympathy. That is a great picture of him and he always had that twinkle in his eyes! I will cherish my memories of him as a neighbour on the farm and visting at the house in Mount Forest. His chair will be empty but he will forever be in our hearts. Take care and God Bless, Marie
