I would like to express my dearest sympathy to Alan’s family. Alan’s passing has been felt by many due to the impact he made with so many people of all ages. Our friendship started going back when the first two mixed slow pitch teams developed in Mount Forest. It led to many friendships of families over the years. Alan could boost the moral and integrity of everybody in any event rather it was where he worked, a horse show, fall fair, ball tournament, Christmas or birthday dinner or euchre game. He did it to the “nines”!!!! His Devine ennervention with many circles of friendships are felt with his passing. His legacy continues with his family and a lot of memories will stay in the hearts of many . Our thoughts are with you all, Laurie and my kids, Missy in California, Mandy in Vancouver, Melinda in Toronto and Darby in Colorado From Laurie Welsh of Mount Forest

I am so sad to read about Allan. I enjoyed my visits with him. We talked a lot when I was with him. We talked about horses, camping, farm life, restaurants and of course his family. I loved his stories and his opinions which ,he had a few. I will miss petting the horses on the way in and out. Staying far away as I can from Trixie. I will miss telling people I see a man that lives in the barn. Most of all I will miss him. My condolences to all your family. Kerry Hale (PSW)
