— Vickie Mighton, May 17, 2010To Wally's extended Family: We are sorry for your loss and our thoughts are with at this time. We regret we are unable to attend the funeral today. Betty and Larry Henry
— Betty Henry, May 15, 2010Our sincere sympathy is with you at this time. Wally was such a great gentleman, full of stories, quick to laugh, and just interested in life. We enjoyed many memories in recent years as he visited in my mothers (Jean Barnard) room at Birmingham Lodge. Mom always told us of her memories of him as a little boy walking past her house, holding his Mom's hand, heading downtown. He touched more lives than he could ever imagine. We'll miss you Wally. Terry and Jill Funston
— Terry and Jill Funston, May 15, 2010Our sincere sympathy to the Rawn families on your loss of Wally. Doug & Leona McNabb I ( Leona ) got to know Wally quite well over the last 5 years having worked in the dietary dept. at Birmingham Lodge. He was a pleasure to know and we will surely miss him.
— Doug and Leona McNabb, May 14, 2010We are very sorry to hear of Wally's passing away. My father, Frank Bunyan, is a resident at Birmingham as well. Wally was one of the first people he met and made friends with when he moved to Birmingham over 10 years ago. They both had the love of farming in common giving them many things to talk about. Wally was one of the residents who made it very easy and comfortable for my father to settle at Birmingham Lodge. We have always enjoyed our chats with Wally while visiting my Dad. He was very interesting to talk to and was a very upbeat and positive part of Birmingham Lodge. He will be missed. Our symapthies to you and your families. Dan and Colleen McDougall Elora, ON
