Dear Families of Lynn, I have known Lynn from Mt.Forest for many years, being born and raised here myself. I knew of her children as they went to the same schools as me, although younger than I. I came to know Lynn when she hired me for a nursing position at the nursing home in 2008. In the years that I worked with Lynn, I found her to be a uniquely, caring individual, probably too much at times but she did wear her heart on her sleeve. She was a kind and genuine soul and had so many hardships these past few years. She fought hard though even though there were many days when I know she was at work feeling unwell. She truly cared about the people she worked with and only wanted the best of care and kindnesses shown to the residents. The nursing home was her heart and soul along with her children and grandchildren. Many Saturdays I worked, Lynn would come in to finish up some work from the past week. She was dedicated. I miss her when when I go to work now and walk past her office door. I miss her cheeriness and her good morning. She was trying the do and be the best she could, not only for herself but to set an example for others as well. I will miss Lynn at work but I will remember her kindness, her sense of humor and her compassion shown to others. She was genuine and true. God Bless you Lynn and your family. We will meet again one day...
