Davidson, Ronald'Ron' Wayne; Passed away on Tuesday December 4, 2007 at Saugeen Valley Nursing Centre, Mount Forest at the age of 59 years after a long battle with Alzheimer 's disease. Ron is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Freda nee: (Wiscombe). Loving father of Ron Jr. and his wife Corrie and grandchildren Wayne and Stephanie of Durham. Also sadly missed by chosen daughter Stephanie Robb and children Raymond & Laura of Weston. Brothers Marion, Bruce, Charles, Kenny & Mark and sister Mary of USA survive Ron. Also, many family members, friends and many nieces and nephews, also his dog Churchill. Ron joined the USMC right out of high school and did a tour of duty in Vietnam. He was employed by TJ Lipton (Rexdale) for 30 years. Ron was a kind, caring and gentle man, a devoted family man, an avid golfer, loved the horse races and playing cards. Ron leaves behind a legacy of love and he will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Friends may call at the Hendrick Funeral Home, 294 Main Street South, Mount Forest. Visitation with the family will be from 11:00a.m. to 1:00p.m. on Friday December 7th. Service will follow with Sandra Newman officiating. Interment at Mount Forest Cemetery, Sligo Road, Mount Forest. The family invites you to attend a reception to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion, 140 King Street West, Mount Forest. The family would appreciate memorial contributions to the Alzheimer 's Society of Guelph-Wellington in lieu of flowers. On line condolences may be made at www.hendrickfuneralhome.com
