Margaret Lonsway

On Saturday, July 11th 2020, Margaret Elvira Lonsway (McKay), passed away in her 91st year at Granite Ridge Long Term Care Facility, Stittsville, ON. Loving mother to Wayne Lonsway of London, ON; Doug Lonsway of Kitchener, ON; and Heather McKeown (Lonsway) and her husband Colin of Ottawa, ON. Treasured grandmother to Jenna Rose McKeown and Corey Robert McKeown. Daughter of the late Henry and Myrtle McKay of Scott Settlement (near Bradford, ON). Predeceased by siblings Mary Dunning of Connecticut and Norman McKay of Kitchener, ON. She was also predeceased by two dear daughters-in-law: Susan Lonsway and Jane Lonsway. She will be fondly remembered by her family and friends. Margaret was a dedicated RNA at the Louise Marshall Hospital in Mount Forest for many years. There will be a private graveside service on Wednesday, the 15th of July at 3:00 p.m. at the United Church Cemetery in Bond Head, ON. Donations can be made in memory of Margaret to the Arthritis Society. Arrangements entrusted to the England Funeral Home.
