Werner Beilke
Beilke, Werner; of RR #5, Mount Forest peacefully after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer 's at the Saugeen Valley Nursing Centre, Mount Forest. Left to mourn his loss are his wife and best friend of 64 years Adele and his four sons and their families Werner & Rose of Palmerston, Alfred & Lilly of Bear Lake, Bert & Kathy of Arthur Township and Peter & Charlotte of Kenilworth. Predeceased by his infant daughter Marieann (1957). Grampa will be greatly missed by Monica (Paul), Mark (Linda), Michael (Ashlee), Renae (Andrew), Konrad, Jakob, Adam & Laura, Lukas, Kurtis & Gabrielle. Great grandfather to Quinn, Carter, Lee, Braedon, Keegan, Abbagail, Morgan, Ethan and Hudson. Werner is also survived by many dear relatives in Switzerland and Germany. Werner was born in Lindenberg, Germany in 1923 and was raised by his grandma & grandpa. Wounded as a soldier in WW II a twist of fate allowed him to meet and then marry his nurse, friend and mother of his children. Adele would remain his caregiver for the rest of his life. They immigrated to Canada with two young boys in 1953 where they first settled in the New Hamburg Area. They had two more boys and moved permanently to the Kenilworth homestead in 1964 where they have resided ever since. Werner loved farming but his greatest passion was fishing and hunting in Northern Ontario, especially moose hunting with his boys and grandkids. For the past 15 months Werner 's home became Saugeen Valley Nursing Centre. We would like to thank the exceptional staff at SVNC for their compassion, understanding and above all kindness. The staff especially those with Werner in his final hours will be forever remembered for being truly angels on earth. Private funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the England Funeral Home 294 Main Street South, Mount Forest. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Alzheimer 's Society would be appreciated by his family. On line condolences may be made at www.englandfuneralhome.com

Pete,Charlotte,Luke,Curtis,Gabrielle & extended family, We are all so sorry to hear of the loss of such a special person. Mr.Belke as we all know has been through health issues over the past few years and although there is great sadness that comes with his loss, there should also be celebration of a life that was lived the way Werner wanted it. Maybe in a way this will give everyone some closure to such a difficult situation. Rest in peace my dear man! Our thoughts and prayers will be with you all during this difficult time.

The "Good Times" are the ones worth remembering and cherishing - the friendship, great food, & laughs and jokes shared at the Farm,on those long nights in the Moose camp, in the fields for the Deer and small game hunts, & on the Water during fishing adventures. To Adele; "Thank-you" is really not enough;for helping to create those wonderful moments & times. We will all miss Werner, and be saddened by his passing. Our most sincere condolences to you Adele, for the loss of your dear husband. We hope your days ahead are not sad or remorseful, but pleasant and content;knowing that you did your very best to make Werner's life as good as it was, and"he's in a better place now". To:"Wern, Fritz, Burt, &Pete" My heartfelt condolences - I know your loss.

ADELE and FAMILY When those we love have left this earth, we can still feel them near. We'll see a picture, hear a song, and it's just like they are here. And when we call upon our faith, when we believe and trust, we know the ones we care about are always close to us. Our heartfelt sympathy to you and your family.
