Allen, Marguerite; at Dufferin Oaks, Shelburne on Sunday September 13th, 2015. Marguerite Merle (Rooney) Allen, of Mount Forest in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Willard Allen. Loved mother of Wanda Becker & husband Garry of Waterloo, Wilma McArthur & husband Paul of St. Clements and Glenna Burke of Shelburne. Loving grandmother of Jason Watson of Waterloo, Allison Jeske & husband Tim of St. Jacobs, David McArthur & wife Yvonne of Calgary, Travis Burke of Shelburne, Joshua Burke of Dundalk, Jesse Burke of Shelburne and Luke Burke of Shelburne. Loving great grandmother of McKeela, Wil, Georgia, Evy, Hazel and Max. Dear sister-in-law of Jean Rooney of Arthur, Louise Morrison of Mount Forest and Fern Aitken & husband Ellis of Durham. Marguerite is also survived by her many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by sisters Adaleen Dowling and Loreen Bradley & husband George and by brothers Beverly Rooney & wife Ida, Bert Rooney & wife Wilma, John Rooney and Elwood Rooney. Friends may call at the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. Paul 's Anglican Church, Mount Forest on Friday September 18th at 11:00a.m. Interment at Mount Forest Cemetery. We were so saddened to hear of Marguerite's passing. She was a hard-working, loviing & caring lady. I loved the many summer holidays I spent at the farm with all of you. We are so sorry we cannot be with you at this time, we are in B.C. for another coulple weeks. Know we are thinking of you !
