Alister Adams

Adams, Alister; peacefully at home, on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 with his family by his side. Alister Cooke Adams in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Kathleen Adams (nee Allen) for 56 years. Devoted father to Lance (Lily), Dawn and Geordie. Doting grandfather to Matthew, Nicole, Dylan, Alexandra, Charlotte, Samantha, Lucas, Alora, Caleb and Ava. After receiving an MBA from McMaster University Al went on to have a successful career as Manager and part-owner of Melnor (Canada). Al was a strong competitor on the Canadian tennis circuit. He enjoyed golfing with his wife, playing an active role with his grandchildren and travel. He especially cherished his yearly return to Newfoundland where he was born and raised. Al was a person who always gave of himself and thought of others first. He will be dearly missed by all. Cremation has taken place. No funeral service will be held at this time. Inurnment will take place at the Mount Forest Cemetery at a future date. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest.
