Beloved wife of Tony Rawlings and the late Glenn Acheson. Loved mother of Barry Acheson & wife Chrissy of Aylmer, Chris Acheson & wife Marilyn of RR #2, Mount Forest and Kevin Crotty & wife Danielle of Fergus. Stepmother of Christine Charlier & Alan of England, Graham Hunt & wife Trudy of Orangeville and Lisa Wolstenholme & husband Mark of England. Loving grandmother of Brad, Greg, Derick, Janine, McKenna and Carson. Step grandmother of Annabel, Thom and Erik. Dear sister of David Boocock & wife Gail of Oakville, Paul Boocock & wife Connie of Oakville and Kevin McKenna of Oakville. Marilyn is survived also by her nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her parents and sister Cathy McKenna. Friends may call at the Hendrick Funeral Home, Mount Forest on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00p.m. A Prayer Vigil will be held on Thursday at 4:00p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Purification Church, Mount Forest on Friday October 22nd at 11:00a.m. Reception to follow at St. Mary's Parish Family Centre. Interment at Bethel Cemetery, Southgate Township on Friday at 2:30p.m. Memorial donations to Louise Marshall Hospital or to St. Mary's Parish Family Centre Building Fund would be appreciated by the family. Chris, Marilyn and kids; We are thinking of you during this difficult time. It is never easy to lose someone that is so loved. Memories really will be a wonderful thing of comfort as time moves on. I have known Marilyn since my cousin, Glenn, had the great good fortune to find her. Marilyn was one of the kindest, most caring and considerate people I have ever known. I have admired her amazing strength in times of adversity and feel privileged to have had her in my life. She will be sadly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with Tony, Barry, Chris, Kevin and their families at this sad time.
