Beloved wife of the late Edwin Abercrombie. Loved mother of Jim Abercrombie & wife Linda of St. Mary and Ralph Abercrombie of RR #3, Conn. Loving grandmother of Carolyn Bignell & husband Ken of London, Kristen Abercrombie of London and Scott Abercrombie & wife Melissa of St. Mary. Great grandmother of Elizabeth and Sarah. Dear sister of Harvey Gillies & wife Betty of Pike Lake, Mervyn Gillies of Harriston, Keith Gillies of Cedarville, Gordon Gillies & Mary Lou Burke of Mount Forest, Florence Harper & husband Bob of Mount Forest and Marlene Harper & husband Bruce of Mount Forest. Sister-in-law of Ethel Gillies of Cedarville. Survived also by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Don, Carmen, Kenny and Jack Gillies. Friends may call at the Hendrick Funeral Home, Mount Forest on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday September 7th at 2:00p.m. Interment at Ventry Cemetery. I am so sorry for the loss of your Mother. When I lived at Conn I was her hairdresser plus she became a very special friend. Now I play piano at the Saugeen Valley Nursing Home & visited her regularly. She enjoyed the music & always knew me. I'm going to really miss her as I'm sure you all are. My deepest sympathy ---Isabel
