Rilla, Danny, Doug ,Kevin and families, Marion, Sharon and Doug.
Not having a biological brother I lucked out having two great brothers-in-law, Ross and Don. Thinking today of the pair trying to ride a ( not very well built) homemade bicycle built for two down to the Point Clark Lighthouse, gathering up the neighbors picnic tables with the lawn tractor and trailer for Diane's surprise 40th birthday party/chicken barbeque, the rail fence along the cottage driveway I talked about replacing but never quite got to it. Ross and Rilla show up with pre-sharpened posts complete with wire and rails ,and flowers for the window flower box's
For a few years Sharon and I have added new memories with Ross and Rilla, one of which would be , "Like taking candy from a baby" during a laughable game of euchre, what's trump or who dealt the last hand,
We will each cherish our own memories of Ross . We all lucked out, to have known and loved him
My next project will begin with WWRD. (what would Ross do)

Prayers for Ross' soul; prayers of Love and Kindness to Rilla and the McRobb/Whetham/Allen family; there will be nothing sad about Ross except the way he died; Farming will never be the same in our family; fun times as kids chasing pigs, running thru the corn, to throwing rocks off the bridge at Laura and Clarence's farm pond; didn't know his second name was Edward after his Pa McRobb; Rilla and Ross always wanted a girl, he told me the only thing they didn't do was leave the window open; loved when Tara came for a few holidays with all her pink things on the line; when Lori visited her and Rilla saw a mouse and jumped on chairs screaming, Ross did the same, he said, if they were scared he was, too; so many fun times, usually over food, Clarence would call on Boxing Day ask if we had leftovers, and over they came; that tradition with all of them carried on for many years, just over a year ago you came for a meal, can see and feel Ross looking out my window in the big chair; even fun times dancing and some drinking; most times ended up at Teviotgale for fries and have coffee with the local cops; Dave called Ross and said we need help moving an old log shed, Ross and the gang with their hay wagon, took every back road, making it look like the hillbillies; good times with Ross and our families will be forever etched memories in my heart; wish there could be more; take care, big brother/cousin, Ross; til we meet again, look for your Shining Light from where you are, you, Dave and the gang will have a path made for us..........Rilla, Danny, Doug, and Kevin......he loved you all and felt your love thru these 57 years of his happiest times with his big family, even some girls; Marian and Sharon no other brother like brother, Ross; big hugs to all of you, Gail

Rilla, Doug, Danny, Kevin and your family. Marion and your family, Sharon and Doug.
So sorry to hear about Ross, he will be so missed by so many.
You all have gone through a lot this last few years, it is so hard to see a loved one struggle, but know they are now pain free.
They are all up there reuniting and having a good time.
I loved hearing his laugh, he reminded me so much of Dad. I always thought Dad would be here as long as Ross was around, now they are both gone, but neither will be forgotten.
Bless all of you and know I am thinking of you.
