Gord Corby

Gordon James Corby, of Mount Forest, and formerly of Cambridge, passed away at Strathcona Long Term Care, on Friday, March 13^th, 2020 in his 95^th year. Beloved husband of the late Blanche Corby (nee Culp). Loving father of Douglas Campbell, Brenda Clain, Jeanette Hyde and her husband Scott, and Jim Corby and his wife Betty. Gord will be remembered by his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Doreen Devine and her husband Andy, Jeanette Carnahan and her partner Bill and Weldon Corby. Predeceased by his daughters Sharon Page and Linda Duross, siblings Helen and her late husband Joe Eccles, Pauline Corby and sister-in-law Hilda Corby. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary of the Purification Catholic Church, 230 Queen Street East, Mount Forest on Tuesday, March 17^th at 11 a.m., with visitation being held at the church prior to the service from 10 – 10:45 a.m. Interment at Parklawn Cemetery.
