Condolences
Let us start by offering our condolences to the Braun and Lytle family on their tremendous loss. Debbie and I first met Allan and Anita as they greeted us for the first time at St. John’s Lutheran church. Our family had a trailer in Pike Lake and were looking for a place of worship for our family. That’s when we met the Brauns, two people who couldn’t be more excited to greet you and lead you to the Lord.
From that moment forward we instantly became regulars at the church and the Braun farm. Being city folk our kids had never experienced a farm. Both Allan and Anita graciously opened their hearts and their home to us, showing the kids the farm and letting them play in the hay loft. That became a regular thing.
We left the park for a cottage and lost track of Allan and Anita. One day I reached out and Anita responded with the very sad news of Allan passing. That was the last time we spoke. We learned of Anita’s passing from the Huber family and I thank them for letting me know.
I know it has been some time and the family might not get this but I just wanted to put into words how very special both of those people were to us and they will truly be missed.
Chris and Debbie Cornford (Ryan and Delynn)
Paul, Dale, and Karen, I just became aware of your Mom's passing late last year. Not sure if you still get these messages. Your Mom was a wonderful person; one of the nicest I ever knew. I have many fond memories of hanging out with you, Paul, at your place and your Mom was always so welcoming. Also many fond memories of your Mom from St. John's. I wish you and your families peace in the midst of your loss. I know the loss of a mother remains with you very long (maybe forever) but hope the promise of being reunited one day gives you consolation.

May the love of family and friends soften your sadness and the many cherished and loving memories of your mom bring you comfort and peace. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Paul, Dale, Karen and your families, our sincerest sympathies to you upon the death of your dear Mom. I have wonderful memories of your mom and dad and your younger selves at your farmhouse and at St. John's. She was a lovely, gentle lady whose presence was always a blessing. Her faith in Jesus guided her through her marriage, raising a family and I'm quite confident in her death also. And because of that strong and certain faith she died in the hope of eternal life granted us by the birth, death and resurrection of our Lord Christ. "We do not grieve as the rest of people who have no hope..." (St. Paul) We do grieve the loss of loved ones but we live in great expectation for the final resurrection when all God's beloved children will be together. God's peace and love.
