MARTIN, Ibra Weber - Died suddenly at his residence in Kenilworth on Tuesday, January 18, 2022. Dear husband of the late Salema Martin (née Shantz). Father of Isaac and Mary Martin of RR#5 Mount Forest, Abram and Susie Martin of RR#3 Harriston, Annie and Oscar Martin of RR#3 Mount Forest, Connie and Clayton Brubacher of RR#2 West Montrose, and Jonas and Selinda Martin of RR#2 Mount Forest. Brother of Selinda Shantz, Amos Martin, David Martin, Nelson Martin and brother-in-law of Anna Gingrich and her husband Allan.  Grandfather of 29 grandchildren. Predeceased by two stillborn sons, one grandson, brothers Abner Martin and Edward Martin, and brother-in-law Amos Shantz.

Visitation will be at the home of Isaac Martin, 7293 Sideroad 7 West, Kenilworth, on Wednesday, January 19th from 2:00-5:00 and 6:00-8:30 p.m. and on Thursday, January 20th from 12:00-4:00 p.m. Viewing and burial will be held at Farewell Mennonite Cemetery on Friday, January 21st at 9:00 a.m. then to Woodlawn Mennonite Fellowship, 6449 Wellington County Road 11 for further services at approximately 10:30 a.m. Refreshments and fellowship by invitation only.  Covid protocols will be in place.  Arrangements entrusted to the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest.

I just heard of Ibra's passing, my sincere condolences to to the entire Martin family.
He was a great guy.

Ibra was a loyal friend to our brother Urias and to many more. He touched a lot of lives. I loved his quote re his new home. It's nice but compared to heaven tis but like an old outhouse!
