MARTIN, Geraldine Marie – Unexpectedly but peacefully at the Palmerston and District Hospital on Friday, September 16, 2022 in her 74th year. Beloved wife for 54 years of George Martin. Loving mother of Kevin Martin, Kelly Martin and her husband Brent, Mike Martin and his partner Tania, and Paul Martin and his partner Loretta Jane. Dear grandmother of Greg, Quinn, Neil, Sean, and Heather. Geraldine will be missed by her brothers Marvin Grimes (Barb), Ron Grimes (Rose), Terry Grimes (Kattie), her sister Yvonne Grafe (Riney), and by her sisters-in-law Margaret Dally (late Lorne) and Anne Symonds (Wayne). Predeceased by her siblings Eleanor and Allan.

Geraldine loved to ski and camp, both with her friends and family.  George and Geraldine loved to travel whenever they could, often to Florida to watch Nascar. 

At Geraldine’s request, private family interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, Mount Forest.

Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Geraldine are asked to consider the Arthritis Society of Canada or Diabetes Canada.

So very sorry to hear this about Jerry. Such a treasure of a girl. She will be missed by many but will be laughing with Eleanor in heaven now. RIP. I have included a picture from a St Mary’s School reunion a few years ago. Both Jerry and Eleanor are in it.
