CARROLL, Glenna Elliott (née Rice) - Peacefully at Earls Court Village, London on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 in her 90th year. Glenna is predeceased by her beloved husband Davis Carroll (2015), and by her daughter Yvonne Smith (2014). Loving grandmother and friend of Trevor McKenzie (Noelle) of London, Bryan Smith of Hamilton, and SheriLynn Smith of Clinton; great-grandmother of Ashley, Courtney, Jillian, Elijah, Sophia, Alex, Michael, Braxton, and Brantley; and great-great-grandmother of Charlotte. Glenna will be missed by her brother Elwyn Rice, her son-in-law Terry Smith, and by her many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She is predeceased by her sister Vivian Benson (late Lewis Benson).

Glenna owned and operated the Rices General Store for most of her life. She had a deep Christian faith that carried her through her life. She knew almost everyone in the area and was very active within the community. Above all, she loved her family, she loved taking care of her family, ensuring their plates were always full. 

The funeral service will be conducted on Monday, November 28, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the England Funeral Home, 294 Main Street South, Mount Forest. Following the service, all are invited for a time of refreshments and fellowship at First Baptist Church, 116 Fergus Street North, Mount Forest, to share stories and memories. Interment will take place in the spring at Mount Forest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Glenna are asked to consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
