We are very sad to hear of Reta's passing. Lyle and Reta were a big part of our childhood. The farm was a very special place for us. We always had an amazing time when we visited. Reta was always busy in the garden or kitchen, organizing a luncheon; buffet for a large family gathering or family reunion. What a cook and baker!!!! Seemed to have endless energy....I think she needed that raising 4 boys!!!
My deepest condolences to all the families of Barry, Harvey, Bev and Keith. We love all of you very much, even though we don't see each other very often. But, when we do, it's like we have never been apart.
Another chapter in our lives has begun.

Rita was a beautiful lady with a friendly smile and greeting. Her columns in the Confederate were so interesting and missed. We had our grandchildren there to see Bud and Duke. Another time Lyle took a sleigh load through the Maple Bush back to the side road. Our young grandson from the city was in awe as Duke and Bud had stopped for a "potty" break". Those hot buns were a scene our grandson didn't forget soon. Their good friend Ruth Hunt was with us plus a few others. Rita had the kettle on and we enjoyed sitting around the kitchen table, visiting. One summer evening to celebrate a Birthday Party Lyle took a load of young and their parents into Holstein for Ice Cream. So many happy memories and you, her family will treasure many of your own.

Our Sincere Heart Felt Sympathy to all of you. May her soul Rest in Peace. Bob and Mary McIntee.

My deepest condolences to all of Reta's family.
Lyle and Reta were one of the very first couples that our family met in the Mount Forest area and how very lucky and blessed we were to know the Rawn family.
Over time, I got to know Reta better, through my dear friendship with Keith and going to community functions. What a joy she was. Every time you met with her, there was the quick wit, the gentle voice, the understanding way.
Such a pillar in the community. Big, big loss for the community. RIP dear Reta.
