DEKROON, Jacquie (née Swain) - Passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at Strathcona Long Term Care at the age of 65. Survived by her children; Adam De Kroon and Kristen Lilly, sisters and brothers; Judy Clements, Jill Churchill, Joanne Bickford, Jamie Kauk, Gary Durdle, Monique Swain and Richard Swain and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Nancy and Boyd Swain. Private arrangements have been entrusted to the England Funeral Home. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Jacquie are asked to consider Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada.
Condolences
I met Jacquie while volunteering. We spent many hours reading poetry and writing poems (actually she spoke and I wrote). She was very talented and I enjoyed our time together very much. She was a very interesting and brave woman.
