Gordon Stewart Prentice, of Harriston and formerly of Mount Forest, passed away at Caressant Care Retirement Home, Harriston on Friday, January 10th, 2020 in his 69th year. Dear brother of Jim Prentice and his wife Orma, Gail and her husband Brian MacDermott, and Anne and her husband John Grabowski. Remembered by his wife Jean Gorvett, his sister-in-law Verneda Prentice and by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Gordon and Eva Prentice, and by his siblings Agnes and the late Bill Nicholson, Carl Prentice, and Ruth and the late Murray Pope. A funeral service celebrating Stewart’s life will be held at the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest on Monday, January 13th at 1 p.m. Spring interment at Mount Forest Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
