Carm & Florence Noble

— Carm Noble, February 4, 2024

Dear Virginia, Michelle, Mark, Krista and families. Les was one of those good souls, who along with Virginia, raised great kids. He always has a good story or laugh to share along with a welcoming greeting.
I remember being a teenager approaching manhood in some sense and being very encouraged in the way Les afforded me respect and attention and spoke with me as an equal in the conversation. A lot of the previous generation (I sometimes understand why) didn’t tend to do that. After that I always had time for Les and I believe he always did for me. I try to remember that speaking with young men and women now. Les set a great example in the community. He will be greatly missed.
With love and sympathy to his family and all who were lucky enough to know him.

— Craig MacKenzie and Carrie Deverell, February 4, 2024

We have lost one of the great ones. Many warm memories have carried me through the years. Visits in Glen Morris with Les and Ginny while Ginny was attending Nurses' College were always full of laughter. Spending time with their family in Mount Forest these times are cherished. Les always exuded a warm and gentle presence. His laugh and calm nature made one feel safe.

Speaking on behalf of the many Davidsons who knew Les since he was a child, I regret his loss. He was an especially close friend of my late brother, Warren, with whom he played softball for several years, not to mention the the fact that they were in the same grade in both elementary and high school. I enjoyed catching up with Les, when he and Virginia attended the dinners at Williamsford Comunnity Centre. The friendship between the Byers and Davidson family stretches back 3 generations, and Les was certainly a central figure in keeping it going.

— Willis Davidson, February 3, 2024

My deepest sympathy to Virginia and all families.
