BRAUNSTEIN, Michael “Mike” – Passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at the age of 56. 

Loving father of Jordan Braunstein and Tricia Braunstein. Beloved son of Stefan and Brigitte Braunstein. Dear brother of Anita Rhame. Uncle of Stefanie (Jason Hart) and Billy. Fondly remembered by Valerie Caskenette, cousin Peter Rode and extended family and friends. 

Visitation will be held at England Funeral Home, 294 Main Street South, Mount Forest on Wednesday, March 13th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. where a funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 14th at 11:00 a.m. with visitation from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Mount Forest. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Mike are asked to consider OFAH Fish and Wildlife Fund or Heart and Stroke Foundation. 


Mike was a fun friend to grow up with. So many great memories from our time at St Mary's elementary school. My sincere condolences are with you Anita and your family during this time.

Mike lived life on his terms,
He loved his children and family, he loved to laugh, he was a good friend and partner. He accepted us all wherever we were in our journey and never judged. He loved to fish and kayak, bonfires, beers and burgers.
