Helen D. Quinn
June 26, 2024
QUINN, Helen D. – Peacefully on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 in her 84th year. Beloved wife of Tom Quinn, together for 51 wonderful years. Loving mother of Diana Wilde (Stewart) and Deborah King (Lynsey). Doting grandmother of Justin (Taylor), Jennifer, Kyle, and Dalton, and great-grandmother of Kaden, and Kinley Quinn. Helen is predeceased by her brothers Don and Ken (Shirley), and by her great friend Margaret O’Flaherty.
Helen loved to gather with friends and play cards, especially euchre. She was born and raised in Huntsville, and moved to Georgetown in the late 50’s. After retirement, Helen and Tom moved to Pike Lake in 1999, to be closer to friends, and to enjoy retired life.
A funeral service to celebrate Helen’s life will be conducted at the England Funeral Home, 294 Main Street South, Mount Forest on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at 1:00 p.m., with visitation prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Helen are asked to consider the Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation or V.O.N. Canada. Online donations and condolences available at www.englandfuneralhome.com

My deepest sympathy to the Quinn family.
Dear Tom & girls. We wish to offer our condolences for the passing of your dear wife & mother.
We moved to Pike Lake across from you at the end of March and didn't have the opportunity to meet Helen
as she went to a nursing home shortly after we moved. She looks like a lovely lady and would have loved being
her friend, but unfortunately, I believe she had dementia which is a terrible decease. My mother passed away
from it at the age of 88 and a brother two years ago at the age of 79. I am sure she is in a better place, not having
to suffer any longer. Our hearts go out to all of you as I know it's still hard to loose a loved one. May she rest in peace.
Tom, Diana and Deb
