Jean will be missed. I remember her in my mother's hair salon and often sitting around Jean's kitchen table or being invited in to warm while out Trick or treating at Halloween. She was an amazing woman. My thoughts and prayers are with you and may the fond memories see you through. Melissa ne; Patterson (daughter of Howard & Bonnie Patterson)

Dear Linda & family - not sure why message didn't accompany the photo I posted. So very sad to hear about your Mom. She was quite the lady - very strong, young at heart and will be missed by your whole family. Please accept our Sincere condolences.

Our sincere condolences to the Way family. Jean was a special woman, a force, a role model for the rest of us to live our lives by. We have so many fond memories of our years at Carson Camp; sitting around the camp fire, bocce tournaments and group dinners. Jean always had a story to tell and could have you laughing in seconds. We're confident you will look back in the coming days, recalling some great memories as well that will replace the sadness you are feeling.

To Jean’s family: Our thoughts go out to all of you at this difficult time. We can still hear her wonderful laugh and zest for life. Jean touched so many people. A tribute to her life. We are in Florida, we are very sad that we are unable to attend her celebration of Life. We will be there in Spirit.

We are so sorry about your Mom. Our boys were at our house last weekend and we were all talking about Jean how she still looked the same as when we got to know her 40 years ago. None of us knew her secret to staying so young and active. Jean was such a good hardworking lady. We will always have stories about our connection with Jean and Segments of her family. Paul will always remember the last time we visited her and the rum they shared.

Rick, Deb, Linda, Jan, Cindy, Terry and families, We were so very sorry to hear about Momma Jean. She was a wonderful and crazy woman and we loved her. She was so much fun to be around. I called her for her birthday this year, a month early. She thanked me gracefully and told me immediately I was a month early! We had a great chat! I am so happy you were all able to be with her at the last. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Love, "The Preacher" and Cherryl
