HINDLEY (FAGAN), Michael Victor - The family of Michael Victor Hindley (formerly known as Michael Victor Fagan) of Mount Forest, Ontario are saddened to announce his passing at home of natural causes on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at the age of 76 years.
He is remembered by his children Carole-Ann (Carey) Petrella and Sean-Thomas Fagan (Karyn), his three grandchildren (Tyler, Cole and Claire), his sister Beryl Livingston (Bill), his brother Leonard and by his friends. Michael was predeceased by his parents Claude and Beryl Hindley, his sister Patricia and his adoptive father James Fagan.
Born in Barnsley, England, Michael moved to Coatbridge, Scotland before immigrating to Canada at the age of eight. A celebrated Fire Captain with the Burlington Fire Department, Michael was awarded medals for exemplary service and life saving interventions. He also served as the Fire Chief in Whitefish Falls, Ontario and as part of the Royal Canadian Air Force. Michael loved nature, especially camping, hunting and fishing. His guidance on home improvement and life will be missed.
