MARTIN, Shirley Joan – Passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by family, on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 in her 94th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband and soulmate, Ralph Martin (1994). Loving mother of Paul and Donna Martin, Terry and Terry Martin, Rob and Theresa Martin, Beth and Ron Graham, and Joanne and Karl Aitken. Cherished Grandma of Steve, Sasha, Jeff, Cara, Ian (Joanne), Chris (Marnie), Cameron, Julianne (Tyler), Nadine (Matt), Shawn (Emily), and Jason (Danielle); and GG to many adored great-grandchildren. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Lily and Stan Monck and sister Eileen (Jim) Millington. Shirley touched many lives in meaningful ways and will be dearly missed.
A memorial service will be held at Mount Forest United Church, 175 Queen Street East, Mount Forest, on Friday, May 16th at 1:00 p.m. Following, all are invited to the church hall for refreshments and fellowship. If you are unable to attend the service, you are welcome to view livestream by clicking on the link below. A private interment will be held at Mount Forest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Louise Marshall Hospital Auxiliary would be appreciated.
