Kathy Ollmann

OLLMANN, Kathy (née Warnes)

May 6, 1955 – June 28, 2025

It is with great sorrow that the family announces her passing in the comfort of her own home in Mount Forest, with her loving husband and children by her side. Kathy was predeceased by her parents Eric and Rose Warnes. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Herb Ollmann; children Daniel Ollmann, Lillian Ollmann (Shane Spickett), and Alysha Ollmann (Kurtas Stamm); sisters Lillian Hunter (David), Betty Doucet, Shirley Potvin, and brother Fred Warnes (Tracey). Kathy will be lovingly remembered by her 13 grandchildren.

Kathy was a hardworking and devoted woman who made a difference in the lives of everyone she met. She spent the last 18 years working at Stonehenge Therapeutic Community.

As per Kathy’s wishes, there will be no service. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her honour to Stonehenge Therapeutic Community. Donations and online condolences may be made at www.englandfuneralhome.com

Condolences

I only worked with Kathy for approximately 2 years. At first she was intimidating due to her straight forward and blunt attitude. Over time I learned she cares deeply not only for those who she works with but for the clients as well. She was kind and straight forward. I had the pleasure of conversing with her on a frequent basis and got to know more sides of Kathy that showcased her humour, kindness and care. She will be missed, best wishes for her family.

I worked with Kathy for 6 years at Stonehenge. The very first time I met her was at a training. We got to chatting about where we lived, and soon realized we both lived in the same town. Upon further conversation, she divulged that she had hit a cow on the highway with her car. I divulged I had done the same, within metres of where she had hit one. Seriously what are the odds?
She was always friendly when I came to her office to have a wee chat, or ask her about something.
Kathy you will be greatly missed. Rest in Paradise 💜

I started my career working at Stonehenge with Kathy for 8 wonderful years. It is the place I started to learn who I wanted to be both as a clinician and as a person. Kathy was a big part of that journey. I have not worked anywhere since leaving Stonehenge where I felt as close to someone in finance/HR. I often found myself in her office for much longer than intended chatting about all sorts of things until she would very bluntly but kindly tell me to let her get some work done (or go get some done myself) while laughing. Kathy truly cared about us and the work we were all doing as an agency. I have so much gratitude toward Kathy for being such a big part of creating a safe space for me to make mistakes, learn, and grow.

I am so sorry for your loss and will be thinking about Kathy’s family, friends, and other colleagues in the coming days. She will be missed.

Kathy was a part of the heart of Stonehenge for 18 years. Over that time, she became so much more than a reliable colleague—she was an anchor, an advocate, and a force of nature. Kathy cared deeply, spoke her mind, and always had the best interests of both staff and clients at the centre of everything she did. Her loyalty to the people we serve, and to those who serve alongside her, was unmatched.
Anyone who had the privilege of working with Kathy knew her as fiercely dedicated and incredibly kind—with a bossy streak that we all came to love. She kept us on time, on track, and always grounded in what mattered most: making a difference in the lives of others.
Kathy’s impact on Stonehenge will be felt long beyond her time here. Our deepest condolences to your whole family. Kathy spoke of you with love are care so often. Stonehenge, and this world, will not be the same without her in it.

I worked with Kathy and my office was next door to hers, many moons ago at STC. She was such a genuine person with a great sense of humour! She will be missed!

When we moved to South Porcupine, I hung around, Lill and Kathy Warnes, plus Emily Tkaczuk. We were just a few houses apart. So we have lots of childhood/teenage memories.
Throughout the years we tried to keep in touch as best we could. That bond never wavers. Our family will miss you Kath! Xxxxxxxxx
