You tried so hard. Rest In Peace my friend

— Stephanie L, September 12, 2025

I met Bob when I started playing darts at the legion in Mount Forest. He made me feel welcome and did not look down on my attempt to play. From there I learned to know Dale. I watched Bob, Dale, Karen and Claus, play as a team . They seemed to have a lot of fun. I watched as they paid their quarter for shooting below a designated number. That money went towards a trip the 4 of them would take every year. So I thank you Bob, for giving me this special memory.

Bob taught me how to cut mitred corners when we were working at the same house. He was so patient with me (I'm not always a fast learner) and would stop whatever task he was working on to reiterate how to do it. I still think of him when doing home renovations. Thinking of you all.

So many memories from our youth, growing up with Bob. From surviving the card game - Bloody Knuckles, (Aunt Bon always had bandaids on standby), to sawdust fights in the shop! I can still hear Bob yelling out the door for Staaaaaaanley, his dog who seemed forever lost. Your time and dedication to our local Legion was appreciated by all. RIP Cousin Bobby, you will be missed.

Brad, Cathy and Mr. Schwindt, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Bob. I still remember how helpful and kind he was to me while building the new homes in Clifford. Everytime, I look at my Wishing Well in my backyard, I remember how heavy it was for both Bob and I to put it in his work truck, from Neustadt to Clifford, but Bob was determined to get it home for me. What a gentle and kind soul
he had. May you find comfort in knowing that you were Blessed in having him in your lives for 61 years. Our Heavenly Father has called him home. My prayers and thoughts are with you.
