Kenneth Richard

DALLY, Kenneth Richard “Ken” - With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Ken, a devoted husband, cherished father and adored Grampie. With his loving wife and three daughters by his side, he passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2025, never once alone, until his final breath, at peace in God’s care.

Ken was a man of faith, with a quiet strength and gentle spirit, who lived his life with kindness, integrity and unwavering love for his family. Ken and Verna shared 63 years of marriage built on faith, respect and love; a devotion that touched all who knew them. As a husband, he was ever so patient and a constant source of comfort. As a father and Grampie, he was always present through every milestone, every struggle and every joy, and his daughters and their families will carry his love with them always.

He will be deeply missed by his wife Verna and their daughters Sharon (Randy) Warren, Cheryl (Ron) Speers and Michelle Dally; his grandchildren Lindsay (Corey), Melissa (Christian), Emily, Nic (Chrissy), Ethan, Tyler and Zackary; and his great-grandchildren Rylynn, Harper and Callie.

Ken was predeceased by his parents Grace and Wilfred, his sister Ruth Winslade, and his brothers Arthur, Harold, Gordon and Lorne. He will be lovingly remembered by Barb Moore, Marg Dally, the Holliday family and many dear friends.

A private family service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, Holstein. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Ken are asked to consider the Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Foodgrains Bank.  Arrangements entrusted to the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest. www.englandfuneralhome.com

We are so sad to hear of Ken’s passing.
You and Ken have been great neighbours since we moved into this area in 1986.
I loved to chord when Ken played the fiddle! It brought back great memories of growing up doing the same thing for my Dad.
How wonderful that Ken was able to stay in his own home while on this journey. His family deserves a lot of credit for the care that he received.
RIP Ken
