Lois married Norm Seguss in 1979 and became a permanent resident at Pike Lake where she learned to play golf. In her later years, Lois enjoyed spending time with her embroidery and sewing machine making many decorations for friends and family.

Condolences
My sincere sympathy to Lois's family. She was such a lovely lady. My parents moved here from Toronto over 15 years ago and Lois made them feel very welcome. She often hosted my parents and other neighbour's on Newfoundland Street in her home. She even helped my Dad when my Mom passed (My Dad passed just last November). I like to think they are now altogether having tea time.
— Susan Zonneveld, October 1, 2025My sincere condolences to the families of Lois. I remember seeing Lois at least a couple times and week probably more like everyday. She was a wonderful lady, we had lots of laughs. Rest in peace Lois. 🌹🌼🌸🌻🌺🌾💐🍁🍂🎋
