Stanley “Stan” Staniewski

STANIEWSKI, Stanley “Stan” – Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at the Louise Marshall Hospital in his 76th year. 

Stan is survived by his wife Margaret, daughters Julia Goetz (Raymond) and Christina Cook (Robert). Grandfather of Scarlett, Emmerson, Anderson, Liv and Adalynn. 

Predeceased by his parents Bronislaw and Walentyna Staniewski as well as two brothers and one sister. 

Stan was born in Germany and emigrated to Canada in 1951 on the M.S. Nelly. He and Margaret were married in 1979 and raised their beloved daughters in Mount Forest. Stan was an avid angler and hunter and loved the outdoors. 

The family would like to thank the staff of Louise Marshall Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion. 

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Purification Roman Catholic Church, 310 Parkside Drive, Mount Forest, on Tuesday, October 14th at 1:00 p.m. Following, a come and go celebration of life will be held in the church hall from 2:00-4:00 p.m. 

Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Stan are asked to consider the Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation or Diabetes Canada. England Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
