Elam K. Martin

MARTIN, Elam K.– Died peacefully at his home, after a lengthy illness, on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at the age of 73 years. Beloved husband of Nancy (née Martin) Martin with whom he lived in matrimony for over 50 years. Dear father of Allan and Diane Martin of Mount Forest, Ellen and the late Justus Martin of Mount Forest, MaryAnn Martin of Arthur, Harvey and Kathryn Martin of Kenilworth, Murray and Nadine Martin of Arthur, Mahlon and Theresa Martin of Mount Forest, Bertha and Joel Martin of Arthur, Leona and Leon Weber of Palmerston, Wilma and Marlin Martin of Holstein, and Lewis and Amy Martin of Mount Forest. Survived by 33 grandchildren. Brother of Lizzie and Allen Wideman of St. Clements, Martha and Aaron Jantzi of Milverton, and Mary and Edgar Brubacher of Neustadt. Survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Predeceased by his parents Leander and MaryAnn Martin, granddaughter Alayna Weber, and brother-in-law Paul Lichty. 

The family wish to thank all of Elam’s caregivers and friends for their support during his illness. 

Visitation will be held at the England Funeral Home, 294 Main Street South, Mount Forest on Thursday, December 4^th from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m., and Friday from 1:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. A family service will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., followed by burial and a public service at Meadowside Mennonite Meetinghouse, 9621 Wellington County Road 14, Conn. Arrangements entrusted to the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest.
