Jules Leo Gilbert

GILBERT, Jules Leo – Passed away peacefully at Louise Marshall Hospital on Friday, December 5, 2025 in his 74th year.

Beloved husband of Angèle (Angie) Gilbert of 47 wonderful years. Loving father of Lee Gilbert and his wife Shannon Lichty. Precious grandfather to Shilo. Brother of Emile Gilbert (Jenn O’Leary), Germaine Potter, Leon Gilbert (Marg), and Sylvie Whaley (Mike). He was predeceased by his parents Pierre and Suzelle Gilbert, twin brother Julian, brothers Gérard, Conrad, Charles and sisters Ghislaine, Georgette, and Marie.

Jules was a bulldozer operator and welder by trade, and Jack of all trades. His biggest accomplishment was his wife and son with whom he loved so much. The icing on the cake was when his son and daughter-in-law blessed Jules and Angie with a precious granddaughter.  He also loved to have his music on all day.

Private arrangements have been entrusted to the England Funeral Home.

Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Jules are asked to consider the Mount Forest Community Pantry or Cancer Patient Services. Online condolences and donations may be made at www.englandfuneralhome.com
