McARTHUR, Linda Jean – Passed away peacefully on Monday, April 6, 2026 at the Louise Marshall Hospital in her 61st year.
Beloved wife of Gary McArthur for 34 years. Loving mother of Brianna McArthur and Mark McArthur. Dear sister of Rick Harper, Debra Harper, and Dianne MacEachern (Dan); sister-in-law of Betty Harper, Neil McArthur, Carolyn McArthur, Grant McArthur (Bev), Bonnie McArthur, and Barbara Hope (Jim). Survived by her many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her parents Bruce and Marlene Harper, brother Paul Harper, father and mother-in-law Ranald and Marguerite McArthur, and nephew Tim McArthur.
Visitation will be held at the England Funeral Home, 294 Main Street South, Mount Forest, on Thursday, April 9th from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Mount Forest United Church, 175 Queen Street East, Mount Forest, on Friday, April 10th at 2:00 p.m., with visitation at the church from 1:00-1:45 p.m. Those unable to attend are invited to view the livestream by clicking the link below. Spring interment at Mount Forest Cemetery.

Linda did my hair for my wedding, she gave all my kids their first hair cuts, she was there for all the big stuff. My hair got permed, straightened, dyed, streaked, cut short, trimmed to grow, shampooed, blown dry, curled, hair treatments, all while laughing, whispering, maybe a tear here and there sharing life stories, all the things. I know that Linda was the same with everyone, because she was just that incredible. I adored her, a rare and beautiful soul, she was funny and sweet, thoughtful and kind. Linda will be missed, sorely missed. May she rest in the sweetest peace. Our condolences to all who loved her, especially her beloved family.
