MacCANNELL, Lilabelle “Lil” – Peacefully at Louise Marshall Hospital on Thursday, May 21, 2026 in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Ken MacCannell. Loving mother of Louise (Richard) Newell, David (Rose) MacCannell, Linda (Don) Hannemann, and Wayne (Kelly) MacCannell. Dear grandmother of Kourtney, Alicia (Ben), Cassandra (Doug), Tyler (April), and Kandice (David). And great-grandmother of Riley, Kiana, Maverick, Ethan and Leni. Lil will be missed by her sister Shirley (Doug) Sinclair and by her brother-in-law Doug (Carol) MacCannell. She is predeceased by her parents William & Lily MacKenzie, her sister Shiela (Bill) Hamilton, brother-in-law Bev (Doreen) MacCannell and her sister-in-law Lorraine (Willard) Stevenson.
A funeral service to celebrate Lil’s life will be held at the England Funeral Home, 294 Main Street South, Mount Forest on Wednesday, May 27th at 12:00 p.m., with visitation from 11:00 – 11:45 a.m. Interment to follow at Amos Presbyterian Cemetery.
