Condolences
Thank you for your service I enjoyed working for you at 11 division. Rest in peace
— Kevin Kaposy, July 18, 2026Sgt Ingwersen was a man of little words.
When I first met him at 11 Division I was brand nee new to Toronto and to the service in 1999.
Sgt you well turned out, professional and you had my respect right off the get go.
You were my 1st Sgt and though you came off tough on the outside there was a genuine kindness that I saw in you especially on those few times you’d crack a smile.
You always made me feel important and supported young constable like me.
“Do your best and with the right intentions and we’ll have your back” you once said
Not sure how true that rings nowadays unfortunately but I knew you had ours.
Rest well Sgt you were great to work for and very kind.
