WEYLIE, Ellen Roseanne – Passed away peacefully at the Louise Marshall Hospital, on Saturday, July 18, 2026, one day after her 79th birthday. Cherished wife of Doug Weylie for 29 years. Loving mother of Reg Sakamoto, David Hardman, Richard Hardman (late Anita), and Jacki Harkness. Survived by her brothers and sisters and their families.
Ellen was a loving and devoted mother whose life was centered around her family. She had a kind and generous heart, always full of love and bringing fun and laughter to those around her. Her generosity extended beyond her family, as she quietly supported many charitable causes over the years.
In her spare time, she enjoyed knitting and crocheting, and had a passion for writing. She also loved games and puzzles, always appreciating the joy of spending time with others.
Private funeral arrangements entrusted to the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Ellen are asked to consider World Vision Canada or the Canadian Bible Society. Donations and online condolences may be made at www.englandfuneralhome.com
