Arlene Muckart

MUCKART, Arlene – Passed away peacefully and surrounded by family at Hospice Wellington, Guelph, on Sunday, September 6, 2026 at the age of 77. 

Cherished partner of Dave Sparrow for 38 years. Beloved mother of Sherry (Frank) Facchini, and Ryan Muckart (Andrea Kmecza). Adored Grandma of Alaina and Marco Facchini. Survived by her siblings Jenny May Lowe, Dianne (Barry) Richardson; sisters-in-law Edith Brownridge and Janet (Rob) Radburn; and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Jean Brownridge, brother David Brownridge, and brother-in-law David Lowe. 

Arlene was a creative soul who found joy in painting, gardening, and spending time with her beloved dogs. Above all, she treasured time with her family, creating cherished memories through the simple moments they shared together.

Visitation will be held at the England Funeral Home, 294 Main Street South, Mount Forest, on Thursday, September 10th from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m., where the funeral service will be held on Friday, September 11th at 12 noon. Immediately following the service, the interment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery,  553002 County Road 16, Amaranth (outskirts of Orangeville). A private reception will be held.
