JONES, Violet - Peacefully at Strathcona Long Term Care, Mount Forest on Friday, October 9, 2026 in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Garfield Jones (2017). Loving mother of Carole and her husband Bob McGrath of Hagersville, Wayne Wagg and his wife Barb of Cherry Valley, Doug Wagg and his wife Michele of Conn, and Ken Wagg and his wife Barb of Kenilworth. She will be missed by her grandchildren: Rachel (late Alex), Sarah (Ryan), Michael, Leah (Alec), Wendy (Jason), Leanne, Wayne (Rod), Shaun (Kim), Brandon (Rachel), Alana, Kaitlyn; and step-grandchildren Kyle and Megan and their families. Dear sister of Gladys Yeomanson, Dorothy Marshall, Betty Kingsland, and Mary Norton. Violet will be missed by her dear friend Fred Wilson (late Helen). She is predeceased by her sisters Molly Marshall and Edna Brown.
Violet enjoyed gardening and spending time outdoors. She took great pride in her work and was dedicated to always doing her best. Above all, Violet loved her family and cherished the time they spent together. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will take place at the graveside at Uxbridge Cemetery, 270 Toronto Street South, Uxbridge, on Monday, October 26th from 11:00 to 11:30 a.m., followed by a graveside service at 11:30 a.m. Online condolences may be made at www.englandfuneralhome.com.
