Steven "Steve" Hamilton
October 27, 2026

HAMILTON, Steven William “Steve” – With heavy hearts we announce Steve’s passing at the Louise Marshall Hospital on Tuesday, October 27, 2026 at the age of 61.
Cherished husband of Barbara for 31 years. Loving brother of Lloyd and his wife Valerie, and uncle of Brady and Jeffery (Karen). Steve will also be missed by his beloved dog, Peppy.
Predeceased by his parents Bill (2004) and Sheila (2008).
Steve spent many years working at Bast Tire and Superior Tire before moving on to TC Industries. His cottage on Wart Lake was a favourite place to unwind, whether he was fishing or simply enjoying the peaceful surroundings. He also enjoyed the challenge of a good crossword puzzle.
The family would like to express heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Weinstein and the nurses at the Louise Marshall Hospital for their compassionate care.
To honour Steve’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A come-and-go celebration of his life will be held at the Mount Forest Curling Club, 144 Egremont Street South, Mount Forest, on Sunday, November 8th from 2:00-5:00 p.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Steve are asked to consider Cancer Patient Services or a charity of choice.
